Law firm Davis Wright Tremaine expands its Los Angeles branch with the recruitment of new partner Ben Gipson.
Ben Gipson, a seasoned litigator and advisor with over 20 years of experience in employment law, class actions, and complex litigation, has joined Davis Wright Tremaine (DWT) as a partner in its national employment services team in Los Angeles.
Gipson's expertise focuses on advising clients in the technology, media, sports, and entertainment sectors, particularly on resolving employment issues related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He defends employers against claims such as wage and hour disputes, harassment, wrongful termination, and discrimination, and has represented clients before state and federal agencies.
Prior to joining DWT, Gipson spent more than a decade at DLA Piper. His educational background includes a J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center (2002) and a B.A. in Government and History, cum laude, from Claremont McKenna College (1997). He is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia, Washington, and various federal courts.
Gipson's experience aligns closely with DWT's strategic focus on the tech, entertainment, and media industries.
