The Landmark Group has announced significant leadership changes at Max Fashion. Sumit Chandna has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer, replacing Shital Mehta, who takes on a new role within the group.

The Landmark Group, a prominent omnichannel retail organization in the Middle East, North Africa, and India, has made key changes to its executive team. Sumit Chandna, previously serving as Deputy CEO of Max Fashion for three years, has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2025. Chandna has been recognised for his pivotal role in driving the brand's transformation and strengthening its operational excellence.

Shital Mehta, the former CEO of Max Fashion, has been promoted to managing director at LIPL, the parent company. In this new role, Mehta will lead a broader portfolio of businesses and group functions. Mehta expressed confidence in the transition, believing that under Chandna's leadership, Max will continue to innovate, grow, and strengthen its connection with customers across India.

The appointments reflect the group's commitment to building a strong foundation for the future, as commented by Renuka Jagtiani, chairwoman of LIPL. Sumit Chandna expressed his honour in taking on the role of CEO at Max and looks forward to continuing the journey of growth and innovation.
