La líder del área de Sverdlovsk, Denis Pasler, anunció el inicio de nuevas empresas en Alapaevsk.
In the heart of Russia's Sverdlovsk region, the Titanium Valley special economic zone is undergoing a significant transformation. The zone, spanning over 100 hectares, has already welcomed its residents, and the former Novoyalapaevsky Metallurgical Plant site is set to join the fold soon.
The transformation begins with the launch of a new plant dedicated to producing grinding steel balls. These critical components are essential in the mining and mineral processing industries, where they facilitate the grinding of ores. The plant's launch aims to revitalize the area’s metallurgical production capabilities, leveraging local expertise and infrastructure.
Situated within the Titanium Valley SEZ, this redevelopment benefits from the SEZ’s incentives and infrastructure aimed at fostering high-tech metallurgy and materials processing industries. Titanium Valley is designed to attract technological and innovative manufacturers, supporting growth in advanced materials including titanium, steel alloys, and related products.
Beyond the grinding steel balls plant, plans include establishing several other enterprises in metallurgy and metallurgy-related sectors. These new enterprises aim to create a diversified industrial cluster specializing in high value-added metal products and components to serve mining, automotive, aerospace, and other industries. The development will also likely include modernization of existing infrastructure and possibly research and development facilities to support innovation in metallurgical processes.
The redevelopment is expected to reinvigorate local employment and industry after the original metallurgy plant ceased operations. It aligns with regional economic strategies to transform the area into a competitive metallurgical hub with advanced manufacturing capabilities.
Meanwhile, other developments are underway in Alapaevsk. Denis Pasler, the regional governor, inaugurated a renovated sports facility at Middle School No. 15 and ordered that work on connecting the engineering networks to existing ones and pressure testing be completed by August 20 for the upcoming fall and winter season. The completion of the renovation project at Middle School No. 15 is scheduled for August 15.
Moreover, Denis Pasler has tasked the relevant authorities to construct a new school building with a large auditorium in Verkhnyaya Sinichka, and discussions were held regarding the creation of social facilities in the same town.
Denis Pasler also visited "Sveza", one of Russia's largest wood processing enterprises in Verkhnyaya Sinichka, employing over 800 workers who annually ship more than 136 thousand cubic meters of plywood.
As for the "Neivastal" plant in Alapayevsk, it will soon be the only enterprise in Russia capable of producing forged balls of increased hardness with a diameter of 140 millimeters. Its design capacity will reach 290 thousand tons of grinding steel balls per year, with the potential to increase to 540 thousand tons.
Two more enterprises are set to start construction on the special economic zone site next year, further bolstering the region's industrial growth. The current building of Verkhne-Sinichikhinskaya Secondary School No. 2 is 58% worn out, but with the planned development, the future looks bright for Alapaevsk and the surrounding areas.
The transformation in the Titanium Valley SEZ includes the establishment of a new plant producing grinding steel balls, essential for the mining and mineral processing industries worldwide. This plant aims to revitalize the region's metallurgical production capabilities and aligns with the zone's focus on fostering high-tech metallurgy and materials processing industries.
The planned developments in the SEZ also include several new enterprises in metallurgy and metallurgy-related sectors, with the goal of creating a diversified industrial cluster specializing in high value-added metal products and components to serve various industries like mining, automotive, aerospace, and more. These endeavors are expected to boost the regional economy and employment rates.
