King Long Unveils MU12E Electric Citybus at Busworld Europe
King Long, a prominent Chinese bus manufacturer, has made waves at Busworld Europe with its latest innovations. The company unveiled the MU12E Electric Citybus, alongside other impressive models like the MC13E Coach, A02 Autonomous Bus, and V8 Smart Van.
The MU12E Electric Citybus, the star of the show, boasts an impressive 465.99 kWh CATL traction battery, providing a range of up to 550km on a single charge. This 12-metre long, 2.5-metre wide, and 3.3-metre high vehicle can reach a maximum speed of 90 km/h and navigate through cities with ease, thanks to its 9.4-metre turning radius.
The bus is equipped with a 32-bit dual-core VCU processor, enhancing safety features such as Electronic Acceleration Pedal Modulation (EAPM), Electronic Power Steering (EPS), crawl control, and Hill-start Assist Control. It also comes with split headlights and USB ports at each seat for passenger convenience.
The MU12E Citybus is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, operating smoothly in conditions ranging from -40°C to 80°C. Its key components are protected with IPK6K9K certification.
AutoKars, the manufacturer behind the MU12E, has already introduced the autonomously operated A02 bus in Serbia, demonstrating the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
King Long's showcase at Busworld Europe has highlighted the company's prowess in electric and autonomous vehicle technology.
