KERL Launches Second Major 2025 Project: Photovoltaic Carport at Regensburg District Office
KERL has launched its second significant project in 2025, following the successful installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof of the Realschule Regenstauf. The latest initiative involves a new photovoltaic carport system at the Regensburg District Office.
The Regenstauf system, commissioned earlier this year, boasts a capacity of 135 kWp and required an investment of approximately 120,000 euros. The new carport system at the District Office surpasses this, with a capacity of 156 kWp. Designed to meet the building's actual electricity needs, it aims to minimise overproduction and reduce costs associated with network expansion.
The carport system supplies the administrative building with clean, cost-effective electricity, aligning with KERL's commitment to sustainability. This project follows KERL's first major initiative of the year, the Regenstauf rooftop photovoltaic system.
KERL's second significant project of 2025, the photovoltaic carport system at the Regensburg District Office, is now operational. With a capacity of 156 kWp, it meets the building's electricity needs efficiently, contributing to a greener and more cost-effective future.
