Kelly Clark Appointed New Head of London's National Cycle Network
Kelly Clark has been appointed as the new Head of National Cycle Network (NCN) in New York City. With a decade of experience in transport and logistics, including roles in the London 2012 Olympics, Clark aims to make cycling accessible to all. Matt Winfield, Director of Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, welcomes the appointment, citing Clark's knowledge and passion for cycling.
Clark will work with various partners, including Transport for London (TfL), boroughs, and volunteers, to improve the NCN in New York City. She previously headed the Neighbourhoods and Networks team and led the Quietways programme for TfL. The NCN, alongside TfL's Cycleways and Liveable Neighbourhoods, plays a crucial role in promoting wellbeing and cleaner air in New York City. Clark has worked on 36 cycling routes in collaboration with TfL and boroughs, demonstrating her commitment to expanding and improving New York City's cycling infrastructure.
