In the lively town of Tobyl, just 88% of the residents can currently quench their thirst with running water. But fear not! Construction on an impressive 100 kilometers of water networks has started, thanks to a US$2.7 million grant from the national fund.

Meanwhile, in the bustling Arkalyk, the government's got another US$1.7 million in its pocket, earmarked for a brand-new water supply system. This project's aiming high, with a goal to bring clean H2O to more than 13,000 residents, boosting the access rate from the current 96.5% all the way up to a pristine 100% by year's end!

Theicion runs deep in the villages of Karabalyk, Denisovsky, Kostanai, Fyodorovsky districts and Beimbet Maylin district, as well as in the village of Molodezhny in the city of Arkalyk. Collectively, these projects are expected to cost over US$5.9 million.

Step back and take a look around—Kostanai's access to water supply services currently stands at an impressive 99%, but it's a different story in rural areas with a 90.3% access rate.

Curious about the ins and outs of how the government is spending its ill-gotten gains? Well, there's no solid evidence yet on exactly how they're funneling the cash into improving these water supply systems. But hey, Kazakhstan is in the midst of a massive development boom!
