July saw the record-breaking sale of Minsk's most costly residence.
In a remarkable real estate transaction, a cottage located on Pokrovskaya Street in Drozdy, Minsk, has been sold for an impressive sum of approximately $984,000. This house, which boasts a size of 503.9 sq.m., holds the title of the most expensive house sold in Belarus for the month of July 2021, according to the Registry of Land Plot Prices.
The cottage is nestled in the coastal part of a residential complex, surrounded by forest and conveniently situated near Beach No3. The gated community where the cottage resides is by the Minsk Sea, offering a serene and picturesque setting.
Each villa in the settlement, including the record-breaking cottage, comes equipped with a swimming pool, hamam, sauna, and gym, ensuring a luxurious lifestyle for its residents.
The cottage features a spacious living room with a fireplace and several separate bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms and walk-in closets. Notably, another house in the same residential complex was sold for $1.07 million in June 2021.
Despite the significant price tag, the cottage was built relatively recently, in 2025. The house, developed in the "noughties", was also bought for a substantial sum of $600,000.
While the national record for the most expensive house sold belongs to the outskirts of Minsk, this July record marks a notable milestone in Belarus's real estate market. It's worth noting that the most expensive housing sold in Belarus as of July 2025 are apartments in the center of Minsk, priced at over $9,000 per square meter. This highlights the rapid increase of apartment prices specifically in Minsk’s central area.
