Islands Unlimited Expands Inter-Island Ferry Services for 2026
Economic Development has pledged £150,000 to support Islands Unlimited, which launched last year. The company has announced its full inter-island passenger ferry services for 2026, with bookings now open for travel on the San Pawl between Guernsey and Jersey from March to October next year.
During the winter months, inter-island ferry operations will pause, with only Brittany Ferries providing weekly travel on Wednesdays. Deputy Sasha Kazantseva-Miller, President of Economic Development, has committed to supporting inter-island services and suggested subsidies could continue for firms aiding this cause.
Islands Unlimited aims to deliver reliability and quality on its core Guernsey-Jersey route and explore new opportunities for enhanced connectivity. Captain Chad Murray, CEO of Islands Unlimited, has promised improvements to the service next March, including a premium lounge and a dedicated customer area at the harbours. The company has already carried more than 25,000 passengers since it started in June.
Islands Unlimited is offering a range of special offers for early bookings on its services. With Economic Development's support and the company's commitment to improving its services, inter-island travel is set to become more reliable and comfortable for passengers in 2026.
