BAIC is also developing the new 9-3 model, a Swedish-made vehicle with a BAIC-manufactured front. The new 9-3 stands out with its modern design, featuring a futuristic back that includes a luggage rack resembling a diffuser.

As for the new 9-3's production, it's worth noting that the factory is not yet ready, meaning the new 9-3 will not be manufactured in China at this time.

However, the much-anticipated C60, also from BAIC, may face challenges in the Chinese market due to its European origins and questionable past performance. Despite this, it is believed that the C60 will appeal to middle-class urban families in China looking for an affordable and reliable electric SUV.
