Munich, Germany - Transport Logistic 2025, the central platform for the international logistics industry, recently concluded in the city, focusing on current transformation processes and critical issues shaping the future of logistics and supply chain management. The event, which took place from June 2 to 5, attracted a record-breaking number of 80,000 trade visitors and 2,722 exhibitors from 73 nations.

The four-day fair was a hub of discussions and innovations centred around three key themes: digitalization, decarbonization, and global supply chain resilience.

In the realm of digitalization, the event highlighted technological advances such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation, smart platform solutions, smart warehousing, and data-driven logistics as integral to future-proofing operations across sectors. Specific focus areas included AI-supported control systems, cybersecurity, and video analytics for warehouse and yard management, demonstrating the increasing role of intelligent digital tools in optimizing logistics efficiency and security.

Accelerating decarbonization efforts, green logistics, and circular supply chain models emerged as major themes in line with global sustainability goals. The conference stressed the importance of embedding environmentally sustainable practices within logistics, including exploring new solutions to reduce carbon footprints in transportation and supply chains.

The urgency of adapting to geopolitical instability, rising cost pressures, and increasingly complex, disrupted supply chains was also a core theme at the conference. Resilience was at the heart of discussions, focusing on strengthening supply chain agility and infrastructure to withstand disruptions such as trade volatility and structural shifts like electrification in automotive logistics. Discussions included strategies for maintaining cost-efficiency amid uncertainty, highlighting the need for innovation and collaboration on a global scale to manage evolving market demands and uncertainties.

The fair drew significant participation from industry leaders and companies such as Google, Bosch, Mondelez, Etihad Airways, Siemens Digital Logistics, and others, driving knowledge exchange on these crucial trends. The program featured panels, expert presentations, and workshops addressing these themes comprehensively, positioning Transport Logistic 2025 as a key platform shaping the future of logistics and supply chain management.

With a global profile strengthened by an international share of exhibitors at 65 percent, Transport Logistic 2025 underscored the growing importance and collaboration in logistics on an international scale. The event's expansion to 150,000 square meters, including two new halls, reflected this growing significance.

In his first official visit to the logistics sector, Federal Minister Schnieder's participation was interpreted as a "strong sign for the relevance of the industry amidst profound global changes." Federal Minister of Transport Patrick Schnieder and Stefan Rummel, CEO of Messe München, jointly opened the event, signalling the importance placed on the logistics sector in shaping the future.

Transport Logistic 2025 saw itself as a platform for exchange about concrete solutions, new partnerships, and the further development of the logistics industry in an international context. The opening of the event took place on Monday, June 2, at 11:00 AM in the Forum of Hall A3.
