Industrial expansion and the establishment of seven industrial parks in Kuban region, set for completion by 2030.
In the heart of Kuban, an old brick factory is undergoing a remarkable transformation. The factory is being reimagined as a technopark, a hub for innovation and domestic production.
Covering approximately 9,000 square meters, the technopark is currently home to several industrial enterprises, including Alexei Bolshakov's metal processing business that produces hydraulic cylinders. With a production capacity of 500 cylinders, the technopark is already making a significant impact, contributing to the region's import-substituting production.
Alexei, who has been in his profession for nearly 14 years, oversees the production process, which includes rough and final metal processing. His latest innovation is a sand-cleaning machine, known as a PUM, designed to remove oil during emergencies. The PUM assembly includes a bottom blade for picking up sand, a testament to Alexei's commitment to creating practical, solution-oriented technology.
The technopark is also home to "Osnova," a resident company under the leadership of Galina Gracheva. "Osnova" specialises in producing metal structures for telescopic house jacks and pneumatic grain samplers. Under Galina's guidance, the company has successfully produced a PUM in a short period, demonstrating the technopark's potential for rapid innovation.
The increased volume of locally produced products in the past year is partly due to the active creation of technoparks like this one. Currently, there are 13,500 industrial enterprises operating in the region, a number that is expected to grow with the planned establishment of 17 more parks by 2030. The new parks, both industrial and techno, aim to boost production across various sectors, contributing to the region's economic growth.
The technopark is also transitioning to automated production, a move that is expected to further increase output. By 2030, the technopark aims to increase its production capacity to 3,000 units per shift.
The first IT tech park in Kuban is set to be completed in 2025, marking a significant milestone in the region's technological development. As the technopark continues to grow and evolve, it is poised to play a crucial role in transforming Kuban into a hub for domestic production and innovation.
