Chatting with Cypriot leaders, PM Modi expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the nation's continued backing during our battle against terrorism across borders. He pointed out that a platform for real-time data sharing between our agencies would be created, enhancing our capability to combat terror acts, drug trafficking, and arms smuggling.

Previously, the Mediterranean island nation celebrated PM Modi with its most significant civilian trophy, the Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III. The humbled PM dedicated his honor to the people of India and the enduring friendship between India and Cyprus.

"We'll bolster the progress of our nations and contribute to a more peaceful and secure world together," shared PM Modi. His future stops will involve critical diplomatic encounters in Canada and Croatia.

PM Modi also touched on the possibility of an all-encompassing trade agreement with the EU, hoping to seal a deal by year's end. During the official visit in Cyprus, Modi Elucidated the potential of fortifying economic ties with the country, which is set to head EU presidency in 2026.

"We're working on finalizing a mutually beneficial India-EU trade agreement by the end of this year," Modi voiced during a joint press conference alongside Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides.
