The total number of vehicles registered in Saxony-Anhalt reached 1,521,611 as of the same date, marking an overall increase of 8,145 vehicles compared to the previous year. The majority of vehicles in the region still run on gasoline (approximately 797,000), while diesel cars account for 329,000.
Women accounted for 37.7 percent of passenger car registrations, while females represented 11.8 percent of motorcycle registrations.
