Hamburg's 3D Spark Secures €2M Seed Funding for AI-Driven Manufacturing SaaS
Hamburg-based B2B manufacturing and procurement SaaS startup 3D Spark has secured €2 million in seed funding. The round, which took place in May 2025, was led by Sweden-based Triplefair, with participation from existing investors Fraunhofer Technologie-Transfer Fonds (FTTF) and Innovationsstarter Fonds Hamburg (IFH).
Founded in 2021 by Dr.-Ing. Fritz Lange, M.Sc. Ruben Meuth, and Dr.-Ing. Arnd Struve, 3D Spark offers an AI-supported platform to streamline manufacturing, procurement, and sales processes. The company supports over 15 additive and conventional manufacturing technologies, serving industry leaders such as Siemens Mobility, Deutsche Bahn, and Alstom.
With the fresh funds, 3D Spark plans to expand its platform, enhance its supplier marketplace, and grow its team across technical, sales, and customer success roles. This expansion aligns with Triplefair's investment strategy, focusing on European software and technology firms in sectors like machine vision, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
3D Spark, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, aims to empower manufacturing companies to choose the most optimal manufacturing process for each component. The successful seed funding round, totaling €2 million, will fuel the company's growth and further strengthen its position in the B2B manufacturing and procurement sector.
