GXO Logistics Opens 50,000 Sq.Ft. El Paso Facility for Cross-Border Supply Chain Boost

GXO Logistics has opened a new 50,000 sq.ft facility in El Paso, Texas. The strategically located site offers cross-dock services, storage, and 24/7 yard operations, accommodating up to 350 trailers. It is situated fewer than five miles from the US-Mexico border and fewer than 15 miles from the airport, providing easy interstate access in all directions.

The new facility is situated near the Ysleta Port of Entry, a major trade corridor for northbound goods from Mexico. It offers value-added services to enhance supply chain efficiency. GXO Logistics' vice-president of supply chain operations, Frank Bateman, highlighted the strategic location of the El Paso site for both cross-border and domestic trucking routes.

This expansion follows GXO's recent opening of a 228,000 sq.ft warehouse and crossdock in Laredo, and the expansion of its drayage yard in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. These developments aim to facilitate border freight transfers and strengthen GXO's presence in the region.

GXO Logistics' new El Paso facility, with its strategic location and comprehensive services, is set to boost cross-border and domestic supply chain operations. The site's proximity to key transportation hubs and major Mexican trade corridors is expected to enhance efficiency and connectivity in the region.
