The Russian Ministry of Finance has bucked the Cabinet's proposal to broaden the scope of their preferential family mortgage program. This was confirmed by Minister Anton Siluanov at a public briefing, as per TASS reports.

"You bet we've raised objections," Siluanov stated, "our budget commitments under current financial constraints make it a tough call."
