Global Law Firm Announces Promotions Across Multiple Practice Areas

Global law firm XYZ has announced the promotion of 54 lawyers to partner and director positions, effective January 1, 2022, in various locations worldwide. This announcement marks a significant milestone for the firm, as it continues to grow and expand its legal services.

In New York, Fiona Henderson was promoted in the practice area of banking and finance, while Jared Kaplan was promoted in corporate, M&A and securities. Additionally, Eric Green and Darren Smith were promoted in the practice area of intellectual property, based in Austin and Houston, respectively.

In South Africa, Paul Cartwright received a director promotion in the practice area of litigation and disputes, based in Johannesburg.

In Washington, D.C., Rebecca Abou-Chedid was promoted in the practice area of projects. In Hong Kong, Rachel Chan was promoted in corporate, M&A and securities, and Daniel Ng was promoted in litigation and disputes.

Twenty-three of the 54 promoted lawyers are women, representing 43 percent of the total.
