Global Leadership Discourse within WTTC Unveils Strategic Vision for Travel and Tourism's Future
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) recently held its annual Global Leaders' Dialogue (GLD) in Perth, Western Australia, as part of the Global Summit. Key strategic priorities focused on fostering sustainable growth by smarter tourism management, balancing destination development with community wellbeing, and integrating cross-sector collaboration to address infrastructure and planning challenges.
Participants at the event, including high-ranking government ministers and representatives, and top executives from the private sector, focused on enhancing resilience and unlocking growth avenues in Travel & Tourism. Sultan Mohammed Al Musallam, Deputy Minister of Tourism for International Affairs, Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia, was among the key government figures attending the event. Ms Erika Guerri, Chief of Cabinet, Ministry of Tourism of Italy, and the Hon. Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister of The Bahamas and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, were also in attendance.
