Gießen Launches 'Rental Conflict Help' Service for Tenants
Gießen has introduced a new service, 'Rental Conflict Help', to aid residents encountering issues with their landlords. This complimentary, low-barrier service differs from legal advice and aims to enhance living situations by addressing rental concerns early.
The service, situated at Walltorstraße 3, is tailored for those needing support in existing rental relationships, especially those with social security burdens or language barriers. It offers neutral mediation and fact-driven conciliation in rental-related disputes.
Volunteers are sought to listen, mediate, and support those seeking advice. They will receive professional guidance. The service operates twice weekly, providing independent and confidential counseling, as well as referral counseling. It is closely connected with existing advice offers, municipal institutions, and social carriers. For more details, reach out to Mareike Bähr from the Office for Social Affairs at 0641 306-2061 or ma_re_ike.baehr@gies_sen.de.
Rental Conflict Help strives to stabilize rental relationships, support individuals, and refer them to other suitable services. It is a valuable addition to Gießen's support network, offering a neutral space for tenants and landlords to resolve disputes.
