The Kastl Sport Shooters have been actively working on renovating their club. Members provided around 2,000 voluntary hours for the renovation, with up to 25 helpers per day. Notable changes include the replacement of an over 40-year-old asbestos roof and the facade of the shooting range.

The club management, led by Wolfgang Raps, expressed their gratitude to the bank representatives and all other supporters. The Kastl Sport Shooters aim to reduce their energy consumption and make an active contribution to climate protection with the new photovoltaic system.

Elsewhere in the region, the Schwandorf cattle auction saw high demand and record prices for young cows.
