Fubo and Hulu + Live TV Merge, Reshaping Streaming Landscape
Fubo, a leading sports-focused streaming service, is set to merge with Hulu + Live TV, backed by Disney. Shareholders have given the green light, with the deal expected to close on September 30, 2025.
Upon completion, Fubo's outstanding common stock will transform into Class A Common Stock, maintaining its listing on the NYSE under the ticker FUBO. Disney will secure a 70% stake in the combined entity. Both Fubo and Hulu + Live TV will continue operating independently, offering expanded programming packages to subscribers.
David Gandler, Fubo's co-founder and current CEO, will helm the management team of the merged company.
