Free Wildfire Recovery Webinar Set for Oct 8 in Wyoming
A free 90-minute webinar, 'Wildfire Recovery Webinar', is set for October 8 at 10 AM. This event aims to equip Wyoming's landowners, homeowners, businesses, and nonprofits with crucial information about restoration and protecting the state's natural resources. Governor Gordon has prioritised wildfire recovery and restoration in the United States.
The webinar, developed jointly by University of Wyoming (UP) staff and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), targets property owners and renters affected by wildfires. It will feature interactive presentations from state agency experts on wildfire recovery grants. Despite the federal government shutdown, the webinar will proceed as planned.
Bob Budd, Executive Director of the Wyoming Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust, highlights the threat of invasive species to the USA's economy and natural resources. To aid recovery efforts, the Wyoming Grants Management Office has compiled an extensive Wildfire Recovery Resources List.
