FKS Uncovers Wage Theft in Mönchengladbach Market Hall

The Financial Control of Illegal Employment (FKS) of the Main Customs Office Krefeld recently conducted inspections, uncovering suspected wage withholding and misappropriation cases. The operation, part of EMPACT action days to combat human trafficking and illegal employment, involved 73 control officers who took 128 personal records.

FKS is dedicated to ensuring lawful employment and fair remuneration. During week 39, they discovered four suspected cases of wage withholding and misappropriation in gastronomic businesses at the market hall in Mönchengladbach. Additionally, eight such cases were found, along with numerous immediate notification violations. The FKS did not reveal specific names of suspected companies or individuals, as investigations are ongoing.

The FKS, committed to comprehensive employee protection, will continue to investigate these cases. Their efforts highlight the importance of lawful employment practices and fair wages in the workplace.
