In a significant move towards expanding its product portfolio in electrical heat technology, the Arbanova Family Foundation from Würzburg has announced the takeover of Isoheat GmbH, a medium-sized company based in Ubstadt-Weiher. This merger, which was officially announced on September 15, 20XX, marks an important milestone in Arbanova's growth strategy.

Isoheat GmbH, founded in 2000 by Norbert Baumann, Emil Schmidt, and Walter Wagner, has been a key player in the electro-thermal solutions sector. Last year, the company achieved a turnover of eight million euros, serving customers in the areas of vacuum coating systems, environmental and recycling technology, as well as process and laboratory technology.

Reinhold A. Barlian, founder of the Arbanova Family Foundation, stated that the takeover aims to expand their solution offering in electrical heat technology. Know-how and products from Ubstadt-Weiher will complement the portfolio of another company of the family foundation in Ellwangen.

The founders of Isoheat, Norbert Baumann and Walter Wagner, are stepping down as shareholders due to age. However, they welcome the merger as it creates a stable basis for sustainable growth. Managing Director Emil Schmidt will ensure continuity in tandem with a managing director from Arbanova.

One of the in-demand products from Isoheat is thermal components and solutions from a single source for different temperature and power ranges, shapes, sizes, and environmental conditions, even for applications in explosive areas. As an example, Schmidt mentions retrofitting machines that produce solar cells.

Industrial process heat is increasingly being provided via electrical energy, a trend that Isoheat GmbH has been catering to since its inception. The takeover of Isoheat is expected to strengthen Arbanova's position in this growing market segment.

The Arbanova Family Foundation, which was founded in 2021, has expressed its commitment to maintaining the unique culture and expertise of Isoheat GmbH. The merger is expected to foster innovation and growth, benefiting both companies and their respective customers.
