Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt, one of the top Sparkasse banks in Bavaria with an asset base of 7 billion EUR, is currently seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant for their Finance department.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records and accounts, preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and analyzing financial data to help make informed business decisions. The role also involves performing diverse tasks in financial accounting, including processing credit and debit transactions, posting and booking business transactions, and managing and reconciling general ledger accounts. Additionally, the job requires contributing to the preparation of the annual financial statements and handling tax issues.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting or a related field and practical experience or knowledge in the field of financial accounting and taxes. They should be proficient in common MS Office products, especially Excel, and have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship. A further qualification as a certified accountant or tax specialist is also required.

The candidate must approach tasks with a high degree of self-responsibility, structure, and quality awareness. They should be team-oriented, with excellent communication and organizational abilities, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
