Family-owned MEBATEC commemorates quarter-century milestone in Rödermark
In the heart of Ober-Roden, MEBATEC Blechtechnik GmbH marked a significant milestone, celebrating its 25th anniversary with an open day on the company premises. The event was attended by guests from the business, political, and local community, including Mayor Jörg Rotter.
The company, established in 2000 by Alexander Beck in Rodermark, has come a long way from its humble beginnings in a garage-like setting. Today, it is a thriving enterprise, employing 15 people from the local city districts and the immediate vicinity.
The production process at MEBATEC Blechtechnik GmbH is a testament to modern technology and precision. It combines the use of a highly productive welding robot, manual precision, and modern laser technology to create sheet metal parts that are punched, lasered, welded, and assembled into sub-assemblies.
During the open day, visitors were given the opportunity to witness these processes firsthand, providing a unique insight into the company's operations.
Mayor Rotter praised the positive development of the company, considering it a gain for the city. He expressed his optimism about MEBATEC Blechtechnik GmbH as a strong example for the trio of hard work, competition, and assertiveness.
IHK Managing Director Markus Weinbrenner, who also attended the celebration, congratulated MEBATEC Blechtechnik GmbH on site. He commended the company's management, which is oriented towards dialogue and networking, and its current team, which combines expertise and foresight.
Founder Alexander Beck described the beginnings as being without a sophisticated business plan but driven by the desire to build something. He thanked everyone for their support over the years and looked forward to the future with optimism.
Mayor Rotter, in his closing remarks, appealed for more optimism in the country, highlighting MEBATEC Blechtechnik GmbH as a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work, innovation, and a family-oriented, robustly positioned approach.
