Krasnodar Cracks Down on License Plate Tampering and Boosts Parking Development

In a bid to deter license plate tampering, 50 cameras have been installed on parking lots across the city. These cameras are designed to automatically detect when a license plate is removed. According to Yevgeny Naumov, the head of Krasnodar, around 600 violations of covering or removing car license plates have been identified.

In addition, Yevgeny Naumov stated that the city expects to receive approximately 1 billion rubles from parking fees by the end of 2025. This revenue is expected to contribute significantly to the city's overall development.
Furthermore, the city has managed to clear approximately 13,000 license plates of foreign objects this year. This is a testament to the city's efforts to keep its roads clean and safe for all users.
