European Travel Insurance Welcomes New CEO Jochen Zoeschg
European Travel Insurance, Austria's leading travel insurer and part of the global Generali Group, has appointed a new CEO. Jochen Zoeschg takes over from Wolfgang Lackner, who is stepping down after 17 years at the helm.
Jochen Zoeschg brings a wealth of experience to his new role. A graduate lawyer, he has worked extensively in the insurance industry, most recently at Expedia Insurance. There, he served as a board member, overseeing sales, marketing, and corporate communications.
Zoeschg succeeds Wolfgang Lackner, who has played a pivotal role in the companies' positive development. Under his leadership, European Travel Insurance and Europ Assistance Austria have secured their market leadership. Lackner's departure comes after 17 years of dedicated service.
Jochen Zoeschg's appointment as CEO of European Travel Insurance and Europ Assistance Austria signals a new chapter for the companies. With his extensive experience and fresh perspective, he is set to drive growth and further develop the businesses in Austria and Northern Europe.
