Voter turnout across the cities of Remscheid, Solingen, and Wuppertal remained consistent, with around 13%, 12%, and 10% respectively. However, overall voter turnout in the IHK election slightly dipped from 13% four years ago to 12% this time around.

The newly elected plenary assembly will hold its constitutive meeting on June 5, with the election of the president and the seven other members of the presidium being the main topics of discussion. The term of office for the newly elected plenary assembly is four years and begins on May 1.

It is worth noting that around 19% of companies registered in the commercial register voted, while only seven percent of small business owners did. In the large "Other Services" group, around 10% voted. No specific information was given about the appointment of committee members.
