Embraer Launches $600M Bond Repurchase Program With $50 Premium
Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has initiated an early redemption program for two series of its outstanding bonds, totaling $600 million (approximately €513 million). The bonds, managed by Morgan Stanley and issued by Embraer Netherlands Finance, are being targeted for this program.
Embraer is offering a $50 premium per $1,000 of face value for all bonds submitted by the maturity date of October 21. This sweetens the deal for bondholders, who will receive full repayment if they accept the offer. The program is open to all bondholders, with those who submit by the final deadline receiving the same premium. The company conducted this action in 2025.
The bonds in question were issued by Embraer Netherlands Finance and are currently managed by Morgan Stanley. The early redemption program allows Embraer to manage its debt more effectively and potentially save on interest payments.
