Embraer Kicks Off 2024 with Record Aircraft Deliveries
Embraer, the world's third-largest jet producer, has kicked off the 2024 reporting season with impressive delivery figures. The Brazilian aerospace giant has surpassed its 2023 totals across all business segments.
In the Commercial Aviation segment, Embraer delivered a total of 73 aircraft in 2024, matching its revised forecast. This includes 39 E195-E2, eight E190-E2, and 26 E175 jets delivered throughout the year. The fourth quarter saw a particularly strong performance with 31 E-Jets delivered, comprising 18 E195-E2, two E190-E2, and 11 E175. This quarterly figure represents a 27% increase from the same period in 2023.
The Executive Aviation segment also experienced growth, delivering 130 business jets in 2024. This marks a 15-plane increase from the previous year, aligning with the original estimate. Meanwhile, the Defense and Security segment saw an increase in deliveries, with three new C-390 Millennium transport aircraft delivered in 2024, compared to two in 2023.
Overall, Embraer delivered a total of 206 aircraft across all business segments in 2024, a 14% increase from 2023. This strong performance signals a robust year for the company, with growth in both commercial and defense sectors.
