The Duisburger Verkehrsgesellschaft (DVG) is set to commence construction works on Ruhrorter Straße in Duisburg-Kaßlerfeld from Thursday, 25 September. During this phase, one direction of traffic will be closed between Albertstraße and Auf der Höhe / Kaßlerfelder Straße.
Initially, the route will be closed in the direction of Kaßlerfelder Kreisel. A mobile traffic light system will regulate traffic at the intersection of Ruhrdeich and Max-Peters-Straße, ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles during the construction works.
For those navigating by car, the detour will be signposted via Straße Auf der Höhe, Schifferstraße, Max-Peters-Straße, and Ruhrdeich. Pedestrians can still pass through the construction area, and cyclists are also permitted to travel through the area, albeit with caution.
The detour during the second phase of the project will be the same as during the first phase. The good news is that the construction works are scheduled to be completed by the end of October.
This project forms part of a larger initiative to improve the infrastructure on Ruhrorter Straße in Duisburg-Kaßlerfeld. The DVG is committed to minimising disruption to the public and ensuring the safety of all road users during the construction period.
For more information, please visit the DVG's website or contact their customer service department. Stay informed and plan your route accordingly to avoid any potential delays caused by the construction works on Ruhrorter Straße in Duisburg-Kaßlerfeld.
