President Tinubu commissioned a 24km road that Governor Dikko Umar Radda completed within 18 months. He also opened the Katsina Agricultural Mechanized Centre, reflecting the state's commitment to agriculture.
Tinubu acknowledged the challenges facing Katsina, such as terrorism and banditry, but praised the governor for showing determination and courage in moving the state forward. He pledged the federal government's support in the fight against these threats.

The governor added that the Ministry of Agriculture had supplied the state with 4,000 pumping machines for irrigation farming and planned to distribute 400,000 metric tonnes of fertilizer to farmers in the current year.
