The event program starts at 1:30 PM, with doors opening and refreshments served. The event will kick off with a keynote speech from Ambassador (ret) Nina Hachigian, Deputy Mayor of International Affairs at the City of Los Angeles, scheduled for 2:10 PM.

The first panel, titled "Trade & Investment in the Asia Pacific," will feature Dr. Saori Katada, Professor and Chair of Political Science and International Relations Department at the University of Southern California, along with Dr. Fukunari Kimura, Dr. Kristi Govella, and Ms. Christine Peterson.

Dr. Saori Katada is a renowned academic with extensive experience in political science and international relations. Dr. Fukunari Kimura is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics at Keio University and Chief Economist for Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). Dr. Kristi Govella is an Assistant Professor of Asian Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and Ms. Christine Peterson is the Director of International Trade & Investment at the Mayor's Office at the City of Los Angeles.

Dr. Harukata Takenaka is a Professor at National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo, Dr. Sheila Smith is a Senior Fellow for Japan Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, Dr. Gene Park is an Associate Professor and Director for the Global Policy Institute at Loyola Marymount University, and Dr. Michael Thies is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles.

The event will conclude with Closing Remarks & Reception at 5:30 PM, followed by a reception that will end at 6:30 PM. Full parking validation will be provided for the event.
