Dacia presents 'Cube on Wheels': Electric car for under 10,000 Euros - Dacia Unveils Hipster: The Affordable Electric Car Concept

Dacia has unveiled the Hipster, an affordable electric car concept designed to revive the A-segment and challenge micro-cars like the Opel Rocks and Fiat Topolino. The Hipster aims to make electric mobility accessible at an entry-level price, with a target of under 10,000 euros.

The Hipster stands out with its spacious interior, accommodating four adults comfortably and boasting a 70-liter trunk. Its unique design, described as a 'cube on wheels', features vertical windows, wide door openings, and a forward-folding passenger seat for easy rear access. The interior is simple yet customizable, with individual modules from the accessory program.

The Hipster's exterior is serious yet friendly, with a length of three meters and a weight of 800 kg, making it lighter and more compact than the Dacia Spring. Its ten kWh battery enables a range of up to 100 km, even in warm temperatures. Dacia aims to halve the CO2 footprint compared to current electric cars with this innovative design.

Dacia's Hipster concept is set to revolutionize the small electric car market in Europe. With its affordable price, spacious interior, and eco-friendly design, the Hipster seeks to make electric mobility accessible to all. The brand has announced plans to develop an electric car inspired by the Hipster, further cementing its commitment to sustainable and accessible transportation.
