Cutthroat Entrepreneurial Scene: Pioneering Start-ups of Hamburg
The city of Hamburg is supporting ten international greentech startups through the Future Hamburg Award 2023. This prestigious award, organized by the Junior Chamber of Commerce Hamburg in collaboration with the Körber Foundation and funded by third-party donations, is open for applications until July 31, 2023.
The H2 Startup Accelerator in Hamburg, a global trailblazer in hydrogen technologies, is a significant part of the Future Hamburg Award 2023. The competition is designed to seek out pioneering startups that are making a difference in the field of greentech.
The process begins with the submission of business models, which are evaluated by representatives of startups. All participants receive individual feedback to help them improve their proposals. The seven most convincing founders are then invited to a professional pitch training on October 7, prepared by Veronika Reichboth from the Startup-Unit Hamburg.
The pitch training is designed to prepare them for the presentation on October 21, when the pitch and award ceremony will take place. The three best and most innovative ideas will be awarded at this ceremony, with cash and material prizes worth around 20,000 euros up for grabs.
This year, the Hamburg Investors Network is the competition's partner. Further information about the Future Hamburg Award 2023 can be found on the website wj-hamburg.de.
The Future Hamburg Award 2023 is more than just a competition; it's a platform for innovative startups in the Hamburg metropolitan region to showcase their ideas and potentially secure funding.
