CRAN HORSE Boosts Efficiency with Lean Tech in 'Labor Productivity' Project
The 'CRAN HORSE' company, a key player in the metalworking industry, has begun implementing lean technologies as part of the 'Labor Productivity' federal project. This initiative aims to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and boost competitiveness.
The project at 'CRAN HORSE' has identified and addressed several bottlenecks in its production chains. Notably, the cleaning operation was pinpointed as a critical area for improvement. Strict welding standards have been established to ensure high-quality output.
The project has also seen the introduction of targeted automation and new technologies. A precise drilling machine and a band saw machine have been integrated into the production process. Furthermore, the workspace for fitters has been modernized using quick-release clamps, reducing fixing time and increasing productivity.
The project team has prepared internal trainers for lean production, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Experts from the Regional Center of Competencies are also lending their expertise to optimize the production of metal beams for crane supports.
The implementation of lean technologies at 'CRAN HORSE' is expected to significantly improve managerial maturity and competitive indicators, as noted by Acting Minister of Economy Alexei Yurtayev. By joining the national project, 'CRAN HORSE' is poised to enhance its efficiency, reduce waste, and boost its competitiveness in the market.
