Carmarthenshire Council's Llandeilo-Ffairfach Bypass Project Boosts Flood Resilience and Public Transport

A project aiming to boost flood resilience and enhance public transport is underway in Llandeilo and Ffairfach. The scheme, currently in planning, seeks to make walking and cycling easier, improve bus and rail access, and build a new bypass. Carmarthenshire County Council is likely leading the project, following WelTAG guidelines.

The bypass aims to tackle transport issues in the area. The project also plans to introduce a one-way system in Rhosmaen Street, creating more space for pedestrians. The scheme is designed to improve resilience to flooding, making the area more resilient to future weather events.
