Buses being re-routed along Bierstadter Street

Commencing from August 11th, the temporary halt 'Plutoweg' will be provided on the B455 route, replacing the original detour. Passengers can access the standard 'Plutoweg' stop for Lines 17, 23, and 24 via a footpath on Beerstadter Straße, starting from the temporary stop on the B455.

Buses being re-routed along Bierstadter Street

In the heart of Wiesbaden, Germany, several bus lines have been affected by ongoing construction, road closures, and a water pipe break. As of August 16, 2025, the main disruptions involve lines 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11.

Line 37

A water pipe break and road closure on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring have forced buses to take a bypass via Wittelsbacherstraße and Wettinerstraße to reach Berliner Straße. Affected stops include Wiesbaden Statistisches Bundesamt, Mainz Mainzer Straße, and Wiesbaden Gartenfeldstr. P+R. During the detour, some stops along the closed section of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring will not be served [1][2].

Line 17

Road closures on Patrickstraße, effective since August 8, have caused changes to normal routes. The specific unserved stops have not been explicitly listed but will be those along Patrickstraße and affected closure zones [1].

Lines 23 and 24

Both lines are affected by the closure at Patrickstraße, causing detours and likely some stops being skipped or relocated from August 8 to beyond August 15. Exact stops not served during this period have not been precisely stated, but some stops on Patrickstraße are unavailable [1].

Line N11

Like lines 23 and 24, Line N11 is also affected by the Patrickstraße closure since August 8. Stops on or near Patrickstraße may be unserved or accessed via detours [1].

For the most current and detailed stop-level information, ESWE Verkehr’s website and their live detour updates are recommended to check as these situations are actively changing, especially around the start of the school term [1][2]. The nearest boarding and alighting possibilities for affected lines are at the "Wartestraße", "Hildastraße", and "Alwinenstraße" bus stops.

In addition, an overview of all detour announcements is available on www.eswe-verkehr.de, and timetable and fare information can be obtained via the hotline of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund under the number (069) 24248024. The "Alwinenstraße" bus stop will be served again by line 37 after it returns to its regular route.

A transfer option to line 37 in the direction of the main station is available at the "Hans-Bredow-Straße" bus stop. Citizens can contact the responsible department or office with any questions. Trips towards Bierstadt are not affected for any of the mentioned bus lines.

For lines traveling towards the city center, the detour will remain as follows: buses will take a detour via Kirchbachstraße, Aukammallee, and Fichtestraße. After serving the "Hans-Bredow-Straße" bus stop, line 37 will travel via Moltkering and return to its regular route. After the detour, line 37 will return to its regular route, but will not serve the "Plutoweg", "Wartestraße", "Fichtestraße/Handwerkskammer", and "Hans-Bredow-Straße" bus stops.

The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden issued a press release regarding these disruptions. The ESWE-Verkehr service telephone is reachable from Monday to Saturday between specified hours under the number (0611) 45022450. An interactive network plan on www.netzplan-ourwebsite.de offers current timetable information.
