Blinkit Clarifies Product Listing Policies, Warns Against Fraudulent Resellers
Blinkit, the quick-commerce platform, has clarified its product listing policies. It has no official partners for listings, and all must go through its official portal. The company has warned against fraudulent third-party resellers offering quick listing services.
Blinkit has faced concerns from brands regarding the seller registration process. Issues include lack of response from the team and unclear listing criteria. Some brands have suggested Blinkit should hold listening sessions with distributors and stockists to better understand and align policies.
CEO Albinder Dhindsa has warned brands about fraudulent claims related to product listings. Fraudsters are misleading businesses by offering shortcuts or quick access to listings on the platform. Engaging with unauthorized realtors could lead to products being removed from the Blinkit platform.
Blinkit maintains a zero-tolerance policy for violations to ensure customers receive authentic products. It urges brands to use only its official channels for product listings and to be wary of fraudulent third-party realtors.
