The Volksbank im Bergischen Land is gearing up for a new group of trainees, with applications now being accepted for the next training year. The bank, which values community and is deeply committed to the region, held an introductory event to welcome the future bank clerks.

During the event, CEO Andreas Otto encouraged the new employees to ask questions and not be afraid to make mistakes. He emphasised that understanding all the topics of a bank takes time and is part of the learning process.

Henning Wichart, who started his career as a Volksbank trainee 27 years ago and is now a colleague of the new employees, spoke about the bank as a big family. He highlighted the bank's strong roots in the region and its commitment to the community.

The young women and men will get a first glimpse into the world of the Bergische Genossenschaftsbank during the introduction days. They will meet some colleagues and the internal trainer, Daphne Alexander, who can be contacted at Tel. 02191 / 699-118 or by email at [email protected].

The event was a rally organised by the 2024 trainee cohort for newcomers. It took place in the main administration building in Remscheid. After the introduction days, the new trainees will be deployed in one of the 20 branches.

During their training, the trainees will work in further branches and specialist departments, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the bank's operations. Interested parties can find all information about the training program under www.bergische-volksbank.de/ausbildung.

Volksbank im Bergisches Land is excited to welcome the new trainees and looks forward to their contributions to the bank's continued success.
