Backstreet Boys experience a major breakthrough in Almaty

In March 2025, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) conducted inspections at the Almaty-2 station, focusing on maintaining passenger train safety and ensuring compliance with regulations. During these inspections, six fare dodgers were identified, and it was found that they had been provided with seats for money by the conductors. KTZ urged citizens to report cases of illegal seat sales, fare dodging, and ticket reselling to help combat such activities. Representatives of CMN.KZ also participated in the inspections at Almaty-2 station. As a result of the internal investigation, specific employees of KTZ were dismissed due to the misuse of seats reserved for disabled persons. Smoking was allowed in the train vestibule, which is against the rules. In response to the findings, KTZ took disciplinary action against the involved employees and the train chief received a severe reprimand. The conductors responsible for the illegal sale of seats for people with disabilities were dismissed. KTZ announced its plans to conduct similar inspections in all passenger trains in the future, although the exact duration of these inspections has not been specified publicly. Citizens are encouraged to report suspected incidents through KTZ's Instagram or via the WhatsApp number +7 776 714 5686, with reports including photo, audio, or video materials if available. The inspections were carried out in compositions traveling on the routes "Astana - Shymkent" and "Astana - Almaty." KTZ remains committed to ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for all passengers and encourages everyone to adhere to the rules and regulations while using its services.
