Arnsberg's Major Roadworks: Schobbostraße Closure, Karlstraße Changes Ahead
Arnsberg's roadworks are in full swing. The renewal of supply and disposal lines in Schobbostraße between Möhnetraße and Karlstraße is now complete, with new sidewalk and parking strip work ongoing. Meanwhile, construction around Karlsplatz in Neheim's district begins its ninth phase next week.
The city has announced a significant closure in the area. From October, the entire intersection at Schobbostraße will be closed for necessary work. This closure is part of the broader project to renew supply lines in the area of Schobbostraße, Karlstraße, and Friedenstraße. The complete closure period is set from September 18 to November 30, 2023.
Starting September 29, Karlstraße between Schobbostraße and Schwester-Aicharda-Straße will undergo changes. The intersection with Friedenstraße will become a dead end, with access and exit only via Schwester-Aicharda-Straße.
Arnsberg's road users should expect disruptions in the coming months. The city urges patience and understanding as these essential works progress, aiming to improve the city's infrastructure.
