Anticipated Comeback: OGA 2025 Brings Back the Vibrant 21st Version
Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) 2025, the premier platform for oil, gas, energy, and petrochemicals in Southeast Asia, is set to return from 2nd to 4th September 2025. This year's event, organised by Informa Markets Malaysia, will take place across seven halls and 20,000 square metres under the theme "Powering Progress, Shaping Tomorrow".
A diverse range of sponsors and exhibitors will be showcasing their offerings at OGA 2025. These include EPIC Berhad, Steel Hawk Berhad, Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), Ingersoll Rand, Deep Manufacturing, Zecchin, Airscope Industries, Honeywell International, Ebara Elliot Energy, Sedia Teguh, Hidrokinetik Group, Tuah Energy, Helms Geomarine, Rembe, and SJP Sealing Technology.
In addition to the usual exhibitions, OGA 2025 will feature several engaging programs. SPEAK OGA 2025, for instance, will continue to be one of the show's most popular knowledge-sharing platforms, with thousands expected to gather over the past three years to gain insights on current industry priorities.
This year, SPEAK OGA 2025 will highlight Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) through programs led by Malaysian Women in Energy (MyWiE), TalentCorp, and Project Girls4Girls (G4G). MyWiE and G4G will host a panel discussion titled "Beyond the Energy Bubble: Inclusive Leadership Across Industries."
TalentCorp is partnering with G4G to organise a three-day mentorship programme for young women. OGA Event Ambassadors, individuals from diverse backgrounds, will also engage attendees on a deeper level to share their professional experience and expertise.
OGA 2025 will also feature eight international pavilions and the SPEAK OGA knowledge exchange platform. ASEAN's offshore gas market is forecast to reach US$100 billion, with US$30 billion in investments from 2024 to 2025. With Malaysia as the new chair of ASEAN in 2025, the region is on track to contribute 25% of the world's energy demand growth.
Informa Markets Malaysia Chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat stated that the goal is to partner with the entire energy industry to facilitate continued business growth and impact. To this end, OGA 2025 will introduce the OGA Event Ambassadors initiative and a series of high-impact partner programs.
A cluster of local OGSE companies will come together at the MOGSC Pavilion, organized by the Malaysian Oil, Gas and Energy Services Council (MOGSC). OGA and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) are co-organizing a Paper Competition for outstanding students to showcase their research projects to industry representatives.
OGA 2025 is part of the Informa Markets Energy Series, which includes ENERtec Asia in Kuala Lumpur, International Energy Week (IEW) in Sarawak, and East Coast Energy (ECE) in Terengganu. As the region's energy landscape continues to evolve, OGA 2025 promises to be an exciting event for industry professionals and enthusiasts alike.
