Allianz Global Investors Introduces Enhanced Advisor Portal in Collaboration with Fondsdepot Bank
Allianz Global Investors (AGI) has announced the launch of a new advisor portal, marking a shift from its previous self-initiated platform. This move is a result of a long-standing partnership with Fondsdepot Bank, which will now handle the custody of funds for AGI clients.
The new advisor portal is an additional service offered to clients and advisors alongside the Fondsdepot Bank portal. AGI has been working with Fondsdepot Bank for 20 years, and this collaboration aims to leverage Fondsdepot Bank’s advanced, integrated, and efficient digital platform.
A confirmation email has been sent to activate the subscription for the new advisor portal. Users are advised to check their spam folder if they do not receive the email. The confirmation email contains a button to activate the subscription.
The rationale behind this move is threefold. Firstly, it aims to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency by working closely with Fondsdepot Bank, a depot-holding bank. Secondly, it seeks to access innovative digital services provided by Fondsdepot Bank, offering a more streamlined handling of investment products and services for advisors and clients. Lastly, it focuses on improving the user experience by adopting Fondsdepot Bank's technical platform, providing a more integrated, modern, and user-friendly interface.
It's important to note that the new advisor portal does not replace the technical solution provided by Fondsdepot Bank. Fondsdepot Bank continues to offer AGI clients a portal for fund overview and online fund share trading. The newly designed portal features an intuitive menu navigation, offering intermediaries more comprehensive and clear information compared to the previous one.
The new advisor portal allows Allianz intermediaries to manage client portfolios, providing a significant upgrade from the discontinued previous portal. It's essential for intermediaries to activate their subscription to access these enhanced features and services.
