Adecco Recognized as a Sustainability Leader for the Fourth Year in a Row in both the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indices

The Adecco Group, a leading global HR solutions provider, has once again been recognised for its commitment to sustainability. The company has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability (DJSI) World and Europe Indices for the fourth consecutive year.

The DJSI follows a best-in-class approach, including companies across all industries that outperform their peers in numerous sustainability metrics. This recognition underscores Adecco's dedication to the 'better work, better life' approach, focusing on economic, social, and environmental dimensions.

In the realm of environmental performance, Adecco's greenhouse gas efficiency has shown significant improvement. Since 2010, the group's greenhouse gas efficiency performance has tripled, and it has doubled since 2010.

Adecco's social responsibility efforts extend beyond the environmental sphere. In 2013, the company provided career guidance and job placement support to over 4,500 elite athletes, a marked increase from the 2,000 athletes supported in 2012. Additionally, over 1 million people were reached during the Way to Work™ Street Day in 2013 and 2014, offering career tips and free workshops to support their job search and improve their employability.

Moreover, Adecco's commitment to compliance and ethics is evident. Close to 90% of the group's workforce completed the Compliance & Ethics training. The retention rate in emerging markets also saw a significant increase of 6% compared to previous years.

Adecco's sustainability achievements are detailed in the CSR Report 2013/2014, accessible at http://www.adecco.com/csr/csrreport.aspx. The executive summary of the report can be found at http://adec.co/csr-exec-summary, and the full report can be downloaded from the RobecoSAM DJSI Annual Review 2014, available at http://www.sustainability-indices.com/review/annual-review-2014.jsp.

The RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook 2014, which provides a comprehensive analysis of global sustainability trends and the performance of the world's leading companies, can be found at http://yearbook.robecosam.com/home.html.

In addition to these achievements, Adecco's philanthropic efforts have also made a significant impact. Win4Youth donations for disadvantaged youngsters exceeded USD 1 million for the first time by the end of 2013.

As the Adecco Group continues to strive for sustainability and social responsibility, it remains a beacon of excellence in the global HR solutions industry.
