3XBA Collaborates with Moolah Kicks as Educational Sponsor for the 2025 Campaign

Moolah Kicks, a trailblazer in women's basketball performance footwear, has struck a deal with the 3XBA (3x3 Basketball Association) to empower and elevate the next generation of female basketball players. As part of this union, Moolah Kicks will sponsor a nationwide tour of 3XBA youth basketball sessions, where coaches will showcase the latest Moolah Kicks designs and share insights about the brand's mission to support women in sports. Attendees will learn about the special physiological advantages of shoes built for female athletes, along with the expanding influence of women's basketball on a global scale. The Moolah-backed 3XBA clinics and events will kick off in Spokane, WA, during the NCAA Women's Basketball Elite 8 from March 25-28, featuring an Athlete Panel, youth 3x3 clinics, and a coaches' workshop. Further events are planned in Charlotte, Las Vegas, and Dallas over the next six months.

Natalie White, Moolah's Founder, is thrilled about this partnership and their shared commitment to supporting women's basketball. "We admire 3XBA's ambition to foster a more inclusive and high-performing landscape for female basketball, particularly in the growing 3x3 format. Moolah's focus on both performance and comfort aligns perfectly with 3XBA's mission, and we're eager to aid in developing future 3x3 Olympians who will proudly represent Moolah Kicks."

The Moolah Kicks-3XBA Partnership

The Moolah Kicks-3XBA collaboration transcends footwear—it embodies a shared vision to strengthen and bolster the women's basketball arena, specifically emphasizing the 3x3 format. By merging their respective perspectives, Moolah, recognized for designing basketball sneakers tailored to women, and 3XBA, committed to empowering female athletes, can build a more vibrant and equally competitive landscape.

"Empowering women's basketball also means providing athletes with exceptional equipment," says White. "By collaborating on product development and opportunities, we can ensure that female hoopers have the right tools to excel and shine."

The 3XBA Oasis

The 3XBA powerhouse was launched by visionary figureheads Alanna McDonald, Arlan Hamilton, and Holly Levow, who saw a significant void in the women's basketball landscape: limited opportunities beyond the 156 roster spots in the WNBA. By creating a platform for elite athletes, the 3XBA showcases unparalleled talent, broadens the sport's reach, and makes space for U.S. athletes to flourish.

"We pinpointed a significant deficiency in the U.S. women's basketball market: there were only 156 WNBA roster spots, and no true development league for talented NCAA women's basketball players," shares McDonald. "3XBA is here to bridge that gap by cultivating a pipeline of opportunities for odd-numbered athletes."

Display of Olympians Showcased on The Today Show

Former University of Tennessee standout Cierra Burdick, a top 3XBA player and member of the U.S. women's 3x3 Olympic team, explains the transformative impact 3XBA has on athletes: "I've witnessed firsthand how the league has transformed my development. Six of the top ten ranked American players in 2024 were 3XBA athletes, including myself. This league is paving the way for U.S. Olympic qualification, and I'm grateful to be part of such a trailblazing community."

The 3XBA-FIBA Symphony

Striking a chord with the global 3x3 pro tour, 3XBA's professional season follows the FIBA international 3x3 pro circuit, scheduled from May to September. This harmonious collaboration enables athletes to chase international acclaim while remaining rooted in domestic competition. Being aligned with the global 3x3 circuit allows American athletes to earn crucial points for their national teams, an essential component of Olympic qualification.

McDonald emphasizes the synergy between 3XBA and the FIBA international 3x3 pro circuit, saying, "It's vital that we integrate with the global 3x3 ecosystem so U.S. players can make their mark on the international stage. We're dedicated to empowering both domestic and international talent."

"Our youth development mission is unwavering," says McDonald. "By investing in the future of young athletes, we can grow the sport's roots, ensuring that girls get the opportunities and resources they require to excel."

White underscores the importance of supporting youth initiatives, saying, "By partnering with programs like 3XBA's offerings, we're empowering aspiring basketball players with access to the training, exposure, and resources they need to shine. These young stars will carry the game forward and inspire future generations."

The 3XBA X-Factor

With the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics on the horizon, 3XBA is dedicated to redefining the U.S. 3x3 basketball landscape. Tackling player development and the sport's overall expansion, 3XBA ensures that athletes have access to the vital resources and opportunities they need to triumph not only on the court but also in their individual lives and communities.

"Our vision extends beyond competition," says McDonald. "We strive to create a competitive landscape where women can flourish at every stage—from youth basketball to the professional arena and onto the global sporting stage. Our mission is not just about building a league, but about establishing a supportive and empowering 3x3 basketball culture."

In the words of McDonald, "3XBA isn't just about competition—it's about nurturing and celebrating women at every stage of their basketball journeys, ensuring they conquer their challenges and emerge stronger than ever." By crafting a symphony of opportunities and resources, 3XBA is setting the stage for a powerful legacy of female basketball athletes.
